2. Street clothes are not to be worn under the gym uniform. You may wear a crew neck sweatshirt/sweat pants over your gym suit, but you must show the teacher your gym suit. You will NOT be allowed to take you sweatshirt off during the period. You may also wear leggings under your shorts or long sleeve under armour under your shirt.
3. Always have your gym supplies at the beginning of a week. They need to be taken home at the end of each week to be washed.
4. NO perfume or sprays of any sort are allowed in the locker room or at school.
5. Students with ASTHMA need a note from the doctor in the nurse’s office as well as a copy for Mrs. Boyer. To carry your inhaler, you must have a specific form from the nurse.
6. You must have a note from a parent or legal guardian to be excused from PE. You need to add a telephone number to the note. After 3 consecutive days, you will need a doctor’s statement.
7. Place jewelry in a container so it does not fall down a crack in the locker.
8. Gym shoes should be tied properly to prevent injuries.
9. Think pads are NOT allowed in the locker room due to security reasons. It is recommended that you leave your books/think pad in your locker, but if necessary, you may leave them in the hallway under your discretion.
10. Phones are never even allowed in the gym/locker room due to security reasons. If you have a cell phone on you, it will be taken to the office.
11. You are responsible for your uniform, not your parents/legal guardian. If laundry is not done on the weekend then you can wash it out in the sink by yourself.
Additional Daily Points Lost
1. AEA / Out of School Suspension
- A 10 point essay question will be given for each day you are not in PE/Health class. You will have to ask for this assignment when you return to school. In addition, out of school suspension students will have to ask for any make-up work the day they return in order to have the opportunity to make up the points.
